Hi, I’m Rishan.

I started HiringCoach a few years ago because I believe with every fiber of my being that anyone can become the prized job applicant when they have the right tools and thoughtful guidance. Over the years, HiringCoach has helped thousands of users show off the best of themselves, land interviews, and get offers.

I've spent my career as a management consultant, Googler, and serial entrepreneur. Along the way, I earned an MBA from MIT, an Master's in Public Administration from Harvard, and a BA in Human Biology from Stanford. I've lectured at universities and given seminars all over the world about the intersection of technology, AI, and career advancement, most notably to the global staff of the UN. All of that said, what actually brings me the most joy is hearing from my clients about the impact of the time we've spent together. To date, my favorite review has been:

Full disclosure: Working 1:1 with clients is my absolute favorite part of the work I do and I truly wish I could help everyone but I only have the bandwidth for at most 1-2 clients each month. Initial Consultation (1.5 hours) — I’ll ask you a million questions so I can understand your background, what lights you up, and why you’re applying to this particular role / sector.
Document Collection — You’ll share your current resume, cover letters, target job description, and any other relevant materials.
Tailored Draft Creation — I’ll craft customized drafts of your resume and cover letter, explaining why each line was selected for this role.
Gap Analysis — I’ll identify gaps between your materials and what’s needed to stand out.
Collaborative Refinement — We’ll iterate until everything feels perfect.
Comms and Strategy Coaching — Depending on your package, we’ll prep you for interviews and map out an ongoing strategy.

What’s the timeline look like?

Typical turnaround is usually about a week from when we have our initial consultation. Rush options may be available.
