  1. HiringCoach does not use customer-submitted content to train its own models.
  2. When you request AI features, the content needed to complete that feature may be sent to third-party AI providers under their own policies.
  3. Review the HiringCoach Privacy Policy for the current processor list, retention details, and integration-specific disclosures.

ChatGPT

Steps to Opt Out
  1. Log in to ChatGPT.
  2. Click on your profile icon (bottom-left on web, top-right on mobile).
  3. Select Settings.
  4. In Settings, go to Data Controls.
  5. Find the toggle for "Improve the model for everyone."
  6. Switch it to OFF.
  7. Click Done. Your changes are saved automatically.

Gemini

Steps to Opt Out
  1. Log in to Gemini.
  2. Click on the Settings icon (it looks like a white gear) on the bottom left.
  3. In Settings, go to Activity and click on it.
  4. This will bring you to a new webpage titled Gemini Apps Activity.
  5. Find the toggle under Keep Activity.
  6. Click on it, then switch it off.
  7. It will pop up a new menu, and on that click "Got It." Your changes are saved automatically.

Note: Opting out in Gemini also means you are opting out of having your conversation history saved. You cannot have one without the other.

Claude

Steps to Opt Out
  1. Log in to Claude.
  2. Click on your profile icon in the bottom left corner.
  3. Click on "Settings."
  4. Find the "Data and Privacy" tab under Settings and select that.
  5. Now find the "Help Improve Claude."
  6. Toggle it off. Off is when the bar is gray, On is when the bar is blue.
  7. Your changes are saved automatically.
  8. To exit, click on the speech bubble icon in the top left. Then select the chat you want to go back to, and click that.

Copilot

Steps to Opt Out
  1. Log in to Microsoft Copilot.
  2. Click on your profile icon in the bottom left corner.
  3. Select your profile name.
  4. Select "Privacy."
  5. Find the toggle for "Model Training on Text" & "Model Training on Voice."
  6. Switch it to Off. "On" is when the bar is green, "Off" is when the bar is gray.
  7. Your changes are saved automatically.

  1. Log in to Perplexity.
  2. Click on your profile icon in the bottom left corner.
  3. In the pop-up menu that will appear, find "Preferences" and click on it.
  4. Find "AI Data Retention" at the bottom of the page.
  5. Toggle it off. "Off" is when the bar is gray, and "On" is when the bar is blue.
  6. Your changes are saved automatically.
