Our commitment

HiringCoach.ai targets conformance to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We build with accessibility in mind from the first keystroke and verify with automated and manual testing.

Current status

  • 123 production routes mapped to WCAG success criteria.
  • Zero eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y violations in CI.
  • Zero axe-core violations across automated Playwright smoke tests on 123 routes.
  • Dozens of remediations applied in the most recent cycle.
  • Keyboard navigation, skip link, focus management verified on core flows.
  • 320-pixel reflow verified on 23 pages.
  • Computed accessibility tree verified on 23 pages.

Known limitations

  • Live screen-reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver, JAWS) across the full route inventory is in progress; core flows have been verified.
  • Some embedded third-party components (e.g., Stripe Elements, Canva pickers) inherit their vendors' accessibility posture. We choose components that meet our bar and file issues with vendors when we find gaps.

  • Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer).
  • Keyboard-operable UI with visible focus indicators.
  • Text alternatives for non-decorative images.
  • ARIA labels where custom components require them.
  • Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA.
  • Responsive layouts down to 320 pixels with no horizontal scroll.
  • Text resizable to 200% without loss of content.
  • Reduced-motion support honoring prefers-reduced-motion.
