How the referral program works, and what you earn
The deal
Your friend gets their first month on the monthly plan for $1, then it renews at the standard price.
You get 30 days of premium access — once they make their first full payment.
Up to 12 rewards per 365 days. Rewards are reviewed before they are granted.
How to get your referral link
There is nothing to apply for — your link already exists.
1. Open Refer a friend in your account
Go to Account and pick "Refer a friend" in the left-hand menu. The section only appears once you are signed in.
2. Copy your link
Your referral link is created for you the first time you open the section — there is nothing to generate or apply for. Press "Copy link" and share it.
3. Your friend subscribes
When someone opens your link and creates a new account, we remember that you sent them. You earn once they make their first full payment.
Questions
How do I get my referral link?
Open Account → Refer a friend. The link is already there — it is generated for your account automatically the first time you visit the section. It looks like https://hiringcoach.ai/?ref=ABCD1234, and the code is permanent, so you can reuse the same link everywhere.
What do I get?
30 days of premium access for each successful referral, added to your account. If you are already on a paid plan, the 30 days extend what you have rather than replacing it.
What does my friend get?
Their first month on the monthly plan for $1, instead of the standard price. It renews at the normal price after that, and they can cancel any time. They do not need to type a code — following your link is enough.
When exactly do I earn the reward?
When your friend makes their first full payment — not when they sign up, and not on the discounted first month. Signing up alone never earns a reward. Once that payment clears, the reward is normally applied within minutes.
How long does my link stay valid after someone clicks it?
Their browser remembers your link for 90 days. The credit only lands on a genuinely new account — one less than 7 days old when it is credited — so it works when someone follows your link and signs up, and it cannot be applied to an account they already had. It has to be the same browser, and not a private window.
How many people can I refer?
You can share your link as widely as you like within these rules, but rewards are capped at 12 per rolling 365 days. Referrals past the cap are still recorded and can be reviewed, but they are not rewarded automatically.
Why does my referral say “Under review”?
Referrals are screened automatically, and anything unusual is held for a person to look at rather than rewarded on the spot. It is not an accusation — genuine referrals get flagged sometimes and are approved on review, normally within a few business days.
Can I refer myself, or use a second email?
No. Referring yourself — including through an email alias, a second address, or someone signing up on your behalf — is not eligible and is the one case we block outright. Both accounts can be removed from the program.
What happens if my friend gets a refund or cancels?
If the payment that earned your reward is fully refunded or disputed within 30 days, the reward is reversed. A normal cancellation later on does not take anything back — you keep what you earned. We do not ask you to repay access you have already used.
Do I see who signed up?
No. You see how many people used your link and the status of each referral. You never see a name, an email address, or any account details — that is deliberate, for your friend's privacy.
Is the reward worth cash?
No. It is premium access on your account. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and is not refundable.
Where can I share my link?
Anywhere you would genuinely recommend us: a message to a friend, your own social posts, a community you are actually part of. What is not allowed is spam, bulk unsolicited email, bidding on our brand name in ads, posting to coupon and deal sites, or paying people to sign up. The full list is in the Referral Program Terms.
